A Company Born from a Mission
Imara Horizon was created to translate deep healthcare expertise into delivery that institutions can actually depend on.
Imara Horizon Company Limited (IHC) was established in 2016 and registered with BRELA as a subsidiary of the Benjamin William Mkapa Foundation — a non-profit trust founded in 2006 by Tanzania's late President Benjamin W. Mkapa, committed to improving health and well-being for all.
IHC was created to translate that mission into sustainable, commercially-driven impact. We operate at the intersection of business and public health — delivering solutions that are both commercially viable and genuinely transformative.
Today, IHC is recognized as a trusted partner in healthcare infrastructure, medical supplies, training and consulting, and general supplies — with our Benjamin William Mkapa Health Plaza standing as the flagship example of our vision made real.
